MES Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Analyze existing manufacturing systems and workflows to identify and implement digital improvement opportunities.
• Design and develop solutions to replace legacy tools and manual processes using C#, Python, and SQL.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with system architecture, governance, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Design and maintain data visualization dashboards using Spotfire or other BI tools.
• Translate business needs from manufacturing, planning, and quality teams into technical requirements.
• Support solution testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Must be a Taiwan local hire and work onsite at the Linkou Factory.
• Hands-on programming experience with C#, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in MES, smart manufacturing, or factory application environments.
• Good English and Mandarin communication skills required.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency with Spotfire, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement (CI).
• Experience with API integration and application development lifecycle management.
