What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Security Analysts through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee security alerts, investigations, and incident response activities as the primary escalation point.
• Conduct security assessments and advise clients on cybersecurity best practices and risk reduction.
• Support compliance initiatives including HIPAA, SOC 2, and cyber insurance requirements.
• Optimize security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Huntress, and vulnerability management tools.
• Improve operational efficiency through better documentation standards and reporting processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in an MSP, MSSP, or regulated industry.
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security technologies, identity management, and endpoint security.
• Experience with risk assessments and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Must be based in or able to work in Lakewood, New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, SC-200, or SC-300.
• Experience leading security programs specifically within an MSP or MSSP environment.
• Expertise with Microsoft Lighthouse, Sentinel, or Defender XDR.
