What you will do

• Design, build, and operate microservices for managing virtual assets and progression systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts to prototype and ship new features.
• Ensure consistent execution excellence within the team.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for live product and internal customer support.
• Work with technical and non-technical customers to design solutions that meet their requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in professional software development.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Java or Kotlin, specifically building scalable services.
• Experience with distributed system architectures and maintaining large-scale cloud services.
• Work authorization for the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with data storage technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, or Dynamo.
• Knowledge of networking technologies from HTTP down to the network layer (TCP/IP, routing).
• Experience with industry-standard cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and brokers like Kafka or EventBridge.
