What you will do

• Write and edit content for websites, SharePoint, and Google Sites following established style guides.
• Manage CMS uploads, maintenance, and the overall content review process.
• Optimize text for search (SEO) and ensure all web pages comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions on web content tools and processes.
• Prepare and edit web images, including cropping, recoloring, and resizing.
• Coordinate quarterly certification processes and database content updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in web content management, with at least 3 years within the last 5 years.
• Ability to obtain a USDOT Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential.
• Must be based in or able to work in McLean, VA on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and delivering training materials.
• Experience in the transportation sector, specifically highway and surface transportation.
