What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and views in Looker/Observable.
• Partner with engineering to ship polished, customer-facing data views for enterprise builders.
• Define and build reporting metrics for Product and Customer Success teams.
• Set the strategic direction for the analytics stack and reporting infrastructure.
• Manage data instrumentation and flow between systems like BigQuery, S3, and PostHog.
• Establish a triage process for analytics requests to ensure clear priorities and efficient delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 6+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
• Proven expertise in writing and optimizing SQL with strong data modeling fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with BI/visualization tools like Looker or Observable.
• Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery) and product analytics tools (PostHog).
• Strong ability to manage ambiguous projects independently and explain technical models to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering analytics to large enterprise customers with specific reporting requirements.
• Background in construction tech, homebuilding, or complex physical-world domains.
