What you will do

• Design and develop engineering solutions for challenging measurement problems.
• Implement, test, and perform analysis, providing comprehensive documentation support.
• Generate test reports including plots, tables, and evaluation criteria based on collected data.
• Maintain equipment calibration records and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Develop laboratory procedures and optimize lab layout for effective utilization.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to build and test hardware components.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering or science undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Ability to work full-time for a 6-month period.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to perform hands-on laboratory instrumentation and measurement activities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, SolidWorks, COMSOL, ANSYS, or Mentor Graphics.
• Knowledge of Python and GitLab.
