Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

Salary: $170,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Architect and lead modernization efforts for legacy systems to improve scalability and speed.
• Evaluate and implement SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with business and product leaders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
• Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure system delivery.
• Set the technical vision and establish engineering standards for the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), serverless, and event-driven design.
• Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, low-code/no-code tools, and Gen AI.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering efforts and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and integrating with modern platforms.
• Must be able to work from the New York office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with full-stack development and DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with distributed messaging (Kafka, Kinesis) and caching (Redis).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Background in media, entertainment, or fast-paced startup environments.
