What you will do

• Define and document end-to-end architecture specifications for modular and scalable CPU designs.
• Develop novel architectural approaches to optimize performance, power, and area targets.
• Conduct feasibility studies and tradeoff analyses to determine CPU requirements and new instructions.
• Model CPU performance and power to identify and resolve bottlenecks based on workload predictions.
• Build test plans, simulations, and infrastructure using statistical methods to benchmark CPU performance.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and validation teams to execute CPU projects and influence technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in CPU architecture, modeling, and SoC development methodologies.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience with advanced CPU technology.
• Expertise in Fabric/Interconnect, PCIe/CXL, Coherency protocols, Core/ISA, or accelerators.
• Knowledge of ISA development and implementation.
