What you will do

• Develop and fabricate novel biomedical materials and processes from lab-scale through to manufacturing scale-up.
• Generate and process Device Master Record documentation and technical sections for regulatory submissions in accordance with GMP.
• Identify and implement productivity, efficiency, and reliability improvements for existing processes or products.
• Plan and implement Design of Experiments (DOE) and Risk Management Documentation to validate new products.
• Perform analytical, mechanical, and biochemical assay testing and polymer characterization according to Quality Systems protocols.

Requirements

• Ph.D., Master's, or Bachelor's degree in polymer science and engineering or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in polymer physical and chemical processing (synthesis, extrusion, injection molding, film casting, foaming).
• Experience with analytical techniques including DSC, TGA, TMA, Rheology, FTIR, GPC, and HPLC.
• Knowledge of Engineering & Quality tools such as Statistics, Six Sigma, DFM, and DOE.
• Understanding of anatomy and surgical procedures.
• Must be able to work onsite in Exton, PA.
