TL;DR

Systems Analyst II (Microsoft 365): Designing, implementing, and supporting complex campus-wide collaboration systems with an accent on Microsoft 365 services, API integrations, and automation. Focus on building scalable business solutions, managing application lifecycles, and ensuring high availability for university-wide communication platforms.

Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Compensation: $8,554.25 - $13,340.92 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise collaboration services within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Develop and support custom solutions using REST APIs, PowerShell, and Python for automation.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs and system configurations.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 operational support, troubleshooting complex application failures and defects.
  • Conduct system audits and ensure compliance with security, data integrity, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the university to coordinate systems development and enhancement projects.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and Exchange.
  • Practical experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Python) and API development (REST, Microsoft Graph).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice to have

  • University degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience with modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, SPFx).
  • Familiarity with Azure services, Entra ID, and OAuth 2.0 authentication models.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL for data integration.
