CFI Financial Group is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join its team and work on data infrastructure, ETL processes, analytics solutions, and data science tooling for the online trading industry.

The role is focused on Python, SQL, data modeling, data quality, ETL development, analytics infrastructure, and collaboration with stakeholders to create business value from data.

Main responsibilities:
• interpret and analyze complex data-related problems;
• conceive, prioritize, and plan data projects aligned with organizational goals;
• develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics solutions;
• optimize statistical efficiency and data quality;
• acquire data from primary and secondary sources;
• maintain databases and data systems;
• identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets;
• ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity;
• maintain data science and analytics documentation;
• develop ETL processes using Python;
• collaborate with team members and stakeholders;
• identify opportunities where data can create business value;
• develop and implement data science infrastructure, including experiment tracking, feature stores, A/B testing platforms, and related tools.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of hands-on Python experience;
• 4+ years of hands-on SQL experience;
• strong knowledge of database design and development;
• data modeling;
• data mining;
• data segmentation;
• experience building processes for data transformation;
• experience with data structures;
• metadata management;
• dependency management;
• workload management;
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field;
• strong analytical skills;
• ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present large amounts of information accurately and effectively.

Additional requirements from the job poster:
• 4+ years of work experience with SQL;
• 3+ years of work experience with Shell Scripting;
• 4+ years of work experience with Angular.
