Staff Accountant (Forensic Accounting)

Location: Singapore office; hybrid work arrangement with occasional overseas travel

What you will do

• Analyze sales, production, and other accounting data to assess likely business performance.
• Observe physical inventories and perform price testing.
• Examine engagement source documents and analyze invoices.
• Check and proof reports, schedules, and supporting calculations.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to gather relevant information.
• Attend client marketing events and functions and travel internationally when required.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related law discipline.
• At least 18 months of work experience; consulting or Big Four experience is advantageous.
• Working toward, or willing to obtain, an accounting qualification or designation.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate confidently, work independently and collaboratively, manage deadlines, and perform under pressure.
• IT literacy with good Microsoft Office skills; accounting software experience is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Bahasa Indonesia language skills.
• Consulting or Big Four experience.
• Accounting software experience.
