What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex Big-Data Cloud systems based on requirements.
• Design and implement complex workflows managing Cloud MapReduce analytics.
• Architect solutions for efficiently processing and retrieving large amounts of data.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Cloud Computing and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Oversee software development tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members.
• Review and test software components to ensure adherence to design requirements.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Twelve years of software engineering experience, including two years in Big-Data Cloud or Distributed Computing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 years of equivalent experience).
• Expert knowledge of Java, Cloud Computing, and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Strong background in Information Retrieval and Object-Oriented Design.
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team in a high-security environment.
