What you will do

• Design and manage high-availability, scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and cloud-native services.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling to reduce developer friction and enable smooth deployment cycles.
• Implement observability, security standards, and cost-optimization across the infrastructure ecosystem.
• Own the Internal Developer Platform roadmap, balancing speed with technical debt management.
• Partner with AI/Data teams to design scalable LLM deployment, serving, and monitoring pipelines (MLOps/LLM infrastructure).
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and advocate platform standards and infrastructure-as-code practices across squads.

Requirements

• Deep experience deploying and customizing developer portals such as Backstage or Port.io for self-service developer workflows.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep cloud/platform expertise (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes/GKE, Istio, Terraform, networking, and security.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation and testing, including unit testing on Terraform and Helm charts (with Terratest).
• Exceptional expertise in Go and strong system architecture skills.
• Proven ability to drive architectural strategy and solve complex operational bottlenecks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive consensus across engineering squads.
