hirify.global is building the first account offboarding platform for financial institutions to streamline manual processes like escheatment and disbursement.

What you will do

• Develop and operate backend systems that integrate with 3rd party providers for payments, authentication, and document management.
• Design robust integration frameworks and evolve shared libraries to standardize external system connectivity.
• Build and maintain secure, observable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using IaC and SaaS best practices.
• Implement scalable CI/CD pipelines to accelerate safe deployments and environment management.
• Collaborate with founders and product engineers to design scalable backend architecture and data models.
• Utilize AI-powered tools like Cursor, Claude, and Copilot to prototype and accelerate iteration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in high-performing engineering teams, ideally in a 0 to 1 environment.
• Proficiency in typed languages and backend integration patterns including REST, webhooks, and message queues.
• Strong expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform or similar).
• Experience designing and operating production infrastructure in modern cloud environments.
• Must be based in New York, USA as in-person collaboration is preferred.
• Fluency in using AI tools to brainstorm, prototype, and accelerate development.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, data-heavy workflows, or workflow automation.
