Collection Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Collection Analyst (Fintech): Designing and implementing the entire Collections function for a new business line in Colombia with an accent on process design, data requirements, and reporting. Focus on executing A/B tests to improve repayment rates, building automated data pipelines, and modeling financial outcomes.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Hubs in Colombia, Serbia, Cyprus, or Spain). Relocation support is provided.

What you will do

• Design and evaluate A/B tests to optimize repayment rates and agent productivity.
• Develop operational KPIs, performance metrics, and agent incentive models.
• Build and automate data pipelines, monitoring systems, and BI dashboards.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Operations teams to implement process changes.
• Forecast performance and model financial outcomes to guide resource allocation.
• Translate complex data findings into actionable business strategies for stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data, Collection, CRM, or Risk Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets.
• Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Superset, or Power BI.
• Experience designing and improving business processes beyond simple reporting.
• English: B1 or higher required for international team communication.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience in lending, banking, or fintech.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of predictive modeling or machine learning for customer segmentation.
• Previous experience launching new products or business processes from scratch.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
