What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of microservices, including architecture, deployment, and monitoring.
• Manage a team of approximately 5 developers, conducting 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Contribute hands-on code while balancing leadership responsibilities.
• Enforce coding standards and architecture best practices through code reviews.
• Mentor team members and lead hiring efforts for the team.
• Integrate AI coding assistants to improve team quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience leading developer teams and software projects.
• 5+ years of modern Java programming experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Solid understanding of microservice architectures and AWS services (ECS, SQS/SNS, Lambda).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to balance technical design and business requirements.
