What you will do
- Design and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications and microservices.
- Implement high-quality code following clean code and performance optimization best practices.
- Develop robust asynchronous systems using event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.
- Collaborate with DevOps to containerize applications and integrate CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and coach the team, performing code reviews and promoting engineering standards.
- Utilize AI code companions to accelerate development and maintain code quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST Web Services.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Oracle DB, Kubernetes, and GitLab.
- Proficiency with unit testing tools such as JUnit, JMeter, and ArchUnit.
- Must be based in Romania.
- Advanced English language skills (C1).
