What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a team of prototyping technicians in the rapid development of next-generation systems.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee prototype builds to ensure alignment with engineering goals and timelines.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering, testing, and production teams.
• Improve prototyping workflows, tools, and best practices for speed and reliability.
• Monitor resource allocation and remove blockers to maintain development velocity.
• Mentor team members to foster technical growth and a strong ownership mindset.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in prototyping, system integration, or test environments, ideally in aerospace or robotics.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating technical teams in fast-paced settings.
• Solid understanding of multidisciplinary systems including mechanical, electrical, and basic software integration.
• Experience with agile development processes and iterative prototyping cycles.
• Ability to translate engineering concepts into practical build and test solutions.
• Must be able to work on-site in Gilching, Germany.
