The Exploration Company is developing Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo and potentially human transport.

What you will do

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering team, defining priorities and ensuring engineering excellence and delivery.
• Collaborate on the mechanical design of the spacecraft and major assemblies to ensure robust and manufacturable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for primary and secondary structures, equipment supports, and critical mechanical interfaces.
• Own structural justification activities, ensuring consistency in assumptions, margins, and engineering evidence.
• Coordinate structural analyses and mechanical verification test strategies from definition to model correlation.
• Drive technical reviews and risk identification to ensure readiness for major programme milestones.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in spacecraft, launch vehicles, aerospace, or defense environments.
• Strong background in structure design, structural analysis, justification, qualification, and verification.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and developing technical talent.
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex structural test campaigns.
• Fluent in English.

• Proficiency in German, French, or Italian.
