What you will do

• Hand trim composite components using air tools, Dremels, and routers according to engineering drawings and trim fixtures.
• Prepare composite surfaces for paint by sanding, filling minor imperfections, and degreasing.
• Ensure components meet Class A surface requirements prior to handover to the paint shop.
• Trial fit and align components to ensure correct fit and meet gap/flush targets.
• Work with complex geometries, including body panels and aerodynamic surfaces.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Composite Fitter specializing in trim and prep.
• Proficiency with air tools and hand tools (die grinders, routers, etc.).
• Ability to work to precise tolerances and interpret engineering specifications.
• Experience with high-value components and Class A surface standards.
