What you will do

• Provide day-to-day engineering support across production, assembly, machining, testing, and inspection processes.
• Resolve manufacturing, quality, and process-related issues to improve safety, delivery, and cost performance.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods, routings, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Design and enhance tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production aids to improve efficiency.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and industrialisation activities.

Requirements

• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
• Proven experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or precision engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, GD&T, and assembly methods.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 8D, and 5 Why methodologies.
• Location: Must be able to work onsite in West Yorkshire

Nice to have

• Experience with NPI, process validation, tooling improvements, or production readiness activities.
