What you will do

• Lead the integration and development of thermal management and cooling systems for UAVs.
• Design and optimize cooling concepts for combustion engines, generators, power electronics, and avionics.
• Develop aerodynamic solutions including airflow management, ducting, air inlets, and heat exchangers.
• Build and commission prototype cooling test rigs and instrumentation for system validation.
• Plan and execute thermal, environmental, endurance, and performance test campaigns.
• Collaborate with propulsion, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to optimize thermal integration.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Automotive Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience developing thermal management or cooling systems in aerospace, automotive, or motorsport.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and airflow management.
• Hands-on experience with cooling components such as heat exchangers, fans, and ventilation systems.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (CATIA preferred).
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with CFD or thermal simulation tools.
• Programming experience with Python or MATLAB for data analysis.
• German language skills.
