What you will do

• Lead the integration of hybrid propulsion systems, including combustion engines, generators, and fuel delivery components into prototype aircraft.
• Design, build, and commission engineering test rigs and validation stands for propulsion systems.
• Develop and execute functional, endurance, and performance test campaigns.
• Troubleshoot combustion engines, fuel systems, and associated control interfaces.
• Analyze system performance and failure modes to implement design improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, verification reports, and engineering recommendations.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in integrating and testing combustion engines or hybrid propulsion systems.
• Hands-on experience with fuel systems, fluid dynamics, and pressure systems.
• Proficiency in instrumentation, sensors, CAN communication, and avionics integration.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach.

Nice to have

• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, C++, or LabVIEW for test automation.
