Software Engineer in Data (Senior)

What you will do

• Work with international and Indonesian teams to understand requirements and translate them into high-quality software products.
• Translate detailed designs and specifications into reliable software with minimal rework.
• Help deliver mission-critical products and solve technically challenging engineering problems.
• Apply software engineering practices including object-oriented design and data structures.
• Collaborate with mentors and team leads to deliver projects with strong ownership and timely results.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience at the senior level.
• Strong coding skills in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript/Node.js.
• Familiarity with version control using Git and basic Linux operations.
• Ability to produce high-quality software from specifications with minimal rework.
• Good communication skills and moderate English proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively with mentors and team leads on international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup, fintech, or banking environment.
• Familiarity with GCP or AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam, DBT, or Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and Machine Learning as a Service.
• Experience with data platforms, ETL ingestion, data lakes, data warehouses, big data processing, or BI visualization tools.
