What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain code for the Topology product using Agile practices.
• Collaborate with QA specialists to improve overall product quality and define optimal test approaches.
• Create automated unit, system, and acceptance tests to ensure code maintainability.
• Mentor, teach, and coach team members to elevate the overall technical skill level.
• Consult on the strategic direction of the product in collaboration with R&D and Product Management.
• Engage with Mainframe communities to represent hirify.global MSD.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field.
• 8 or more years of experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS Internals.
• Experience with HLASM and/or Metal C.
• Experience working with SCM tools such as Endevor.
• Good understanding of Db2, IMS, IDMS, CICS, and Datacom.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Knowledge of SMF records and z/OS infrastructure.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLite, or MySQL.
