What you will do

• Conduct research and generate high-quality data on neurodevelopmental phenotypes in Down syndrome.
• Develop innovative methods and tools while ensuring accurate documentation of activities.
• Plan and manage experiments and data analysis in alignment with the group's vision.
• Contribute to scientific publications and present findings at conferences and workshops.
• Train and support students and junior staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary internal and external researchers.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in neurobiology, cell biology, molecular medicine, or a similar field (to be obtained before January 2027).
• Research background with a track record of publications in developmental neurobiology.
• Expertise in generating cortical brain organoids.
• Expertise in mouse in utero electroporation.
• Proficiency in acquiring, handling, and analyzing light microscopy datasets.
• Location: Must be based in or relocate to Milan, Italy.
