What you will do

• Lead SLAM development, incorporating new sensor evolutions and improving performance in GPS-degraded environments.
• Optimize sensor fusion and calibration to accelerate time to delivery.
• Fuse multi-user, multi-session point cloud maps and automate alignment of LiDAR and imagery data.
• Enhance power scalability and reliability by eliminating extrinsic measurements on vehicle sensors.
• Develop systems to detect and correct data quality issues at the source.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in perception for robotics.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Extensive experience developing SLAM solutions, specifically involving ground-based LiDAR.
• Experience with extrinsic and intrinsic sensor calibration, including automated data-driven methods.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Philadelphia office.

• Prior experience with ultra-wide angle cameras.
