What you will do

• Conduct field investigations, including visual and destructive testing, for building condition assessments and envelope repairs.
• Prepare detailed reports, cost analyses, and design recommendations for government and private clients.
• Develop contract documents, plans, and specifications for building modifications and renovations.
• Manage tendering and construction administration, including the development of field observation reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical support to the project team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Certificate in Architectural/Building Science Technology.
• 7+ years of experience in building science, building envelope restoration, or technical architecture.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid Canadian Driver’s License for travel to client sites.
• Working knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
