What you will do

• Detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents to minimize immediate and future organizational risk.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of security events across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
• Apply a comprehensive approach across preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery to safeguard information systems.
• Leverage defensive tools, threat intelligence, and SIEM/EDR/SOAR data to identify and report active threats.
• Develop and execute incident response procedures, playbooks, and runbooks to streamline security operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response within an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience investigating and responding to incidents in network, endpoint, and/or cloud environments.
• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and case management tools.
• Experience performing incident triage, analysis, containment, and remediation in production environments.
• Must be based in Texas (Remote - TX).
