What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop and optimize microservices for high-performance distributed systems.
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in AWS environments.
• Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data processing using messaging queues like SQS.
• Conduct unit, integration, and load testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application security and data consistency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI or Flask.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions).
• Experience with distributed search technologies like Elasticsearch.
• Flexibility to work across global time zones (EST, IST, etc.).

Nice to have

• Exposure to GenAI application development and RAG-based systems.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong grasp of high-performance backend architecture.
