What you will do

• Perform functional verification of CPU logic to ensure designs meet all specification requirements.
• Develop IP verification plans, test benches, and environments to confirm CPU microarchitecture specifications.
• Execute verification plans and run system simulation models to analyze power, timing, and uncover bugs.
• Root cause and debug issues within the pre-silicon environment and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with CPU architects and RTL developers to optimize architectural and microarchitectural features.
• Document test plans and lead technical reviews with design and architecture teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or a related field.
• Experience in digital logic design, including ALUs, control units, registers, memory, and system buses.
• Proficiency in System Verilog, C++, and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, or Tcl).
• 0-1+ years of relevant work experience.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in electrical/computer engineering or a related field.
• Experience with RTL development and x86 or other computer architectures.
• Proficiency with ASM skills and version control software (GIT).
• Experience with Synopsys simulators.
• Use of AI agents in projects, college classes, or software development.
