What you will do

• Lead stage management for live, taped, and streaming productions, ensuring all studio elements are production-ready.
• Perform Studio Audio Assist (A2) duties, including preparing microphones, testing IFBs, and managing cables.
• Maintain real-time communication between the control room, producers, directors, and technical crews.
• Configure and strike studio equipment while maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot audio and studio technical issues quickly during high-pressure live broadcasts.
• Expand capabilities into other disciplines such as teleprompter and camera operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Stage Manager, A2, or similar role in live TV or broadcast production.
• Working knowledge of professional broadcast audio equipment and studio-floor communication protocols.
• Proven experience preparing talent and technical equipment for live productions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain composed in time-sensitive situations.
• Must be based in New York and work on-site.
• Required flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
