What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, JWT, or similar protocols.
• Deploy API solutions via automated CI/CD pipelines and manage services through Azure API Management.
• Collaborate with architects, frontend developers, and QA engineers to define API designs and integration strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining detailed technical documentation.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to improve coding efficiency and software quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Advanced expertise in building RESTful APIs with C# and ASP.NET Web API.
• Strong experience with identity and access management protocols (OAuth, JWT).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and Azure API Management.
• Must be based in the continental US; must be able to complete fingerprinting and a background check.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure App Services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience migrating enterprise applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
• Previous experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
