What you will do

• Manage timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting for the Group and its entities.
• Oversee accounting processes including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and AP/AR oversight.
• Coordinate intercompany activities and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and government bodies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory finance filing requirements, internal procedures, and audit forms.
• Propose and develop improvements for the company's proprietary software and licensed tools like SuiteCRM and Sage.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Senior Accountant role.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Fluent in English and Russian.
• Knowledge of general accounting software.
• ACA qualification or a similar industry-recognised certification is preferred.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Riga, Latvia.
