Senior Security Operations Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be U.S. citizens and perform work while located in the United States.

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive security projects that protect customers, employees, and the business.
• Review infrastructure and product features, implement security controls, and update security policies and procedures.
• Scale detection and response capabilities across cloud environments, corporate endpoints, and production systems.
• Track vulnerability remediation with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Investigate automated detections, proactively hunt for threats, and perform incident commander duties during on-call rotations.
• Automate security operations and controls using Tines and related tools.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in security roles managing complex cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Deep experience securing, monitoring, and managing AWS or Azure services.
• Experience securing Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security tools including CloudTrail, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, Security Hub, Inspector, and Config.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO, CMMC, or FedRAMP controls, SOAR automation, vulnerability remediation, log analysis, and on-call operations.

Nice to have

• Experience automating security tasks with Python or Go.
• Experience working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
