What you will do

• Design secure reference architectures and reusable security patterns for AWS workloads.
• Implement enterprise-wide AWS guardrails and automated security controls.
• Apply least-privilege IAM principles and Zero Trust patterns across the cloud environment.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines using policy-as-code and automated scanning.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to drive remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure delivery velocity without compromising security.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and security, specifically with AWS.
• Deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Strong background in cloud identity, networking, and Zero Trust security patterns.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
• Ability to travel periodically for in-person meetings and interviews.
