What you will do

• Design and enhance cloud-based architectures for operational requirements.
• Lead the migration of on-prem capabilities into the AWS cloud.
• Develop automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code templates.
• Implement security controls including encryption and hardened configurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and conduct architecture reviews for implementation teams.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
• 5+ years of experience designing cloud architectures, preferably on AWS.
• 8+ years of directly relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Nice to have

• Experience designing solutions for cybersecurity or incident response.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures (Azure, Entra).
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
