What you will do

• Perform structural analysis to lead the development of new vehicle architectures and variants.
• Create and execute Finite Element Analysis (FEA) plans to meet program milestones.
• Recommend design solutions to resolve performance issues while balancing mass and cost efficiency.
• Conduct topology optimization to identify load paths and implement enablers into math models.
• Collaborate with SMT, validation, and safety integration teams to ensure structural requirements are met.
• Develop process automation tools and identify strategic opportunities for virtual method innovation.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• 2+ years of experience in Linear Analysis (NASTRAN/OPTISTRUCT) and Quasi-Static Analysis (LS DYNA).
• Proficiency with optimization tools like Genesis.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with CAE modeling tools and application of AI in engineering workflows.

Nice to have

• MS in Engineering.
• 4+ years of relevant CAE experience.
• Experience with UG-NX CAD and SDM/PLM systems like Teamcenter.
• Programming skills in Python or C++ for simulation workflow automation.
• Participation in collegiate engineering programs like Formula SAE or EcoCAR.
