What you will do

• Manage day-to-day engagement on the hirify.global Forum and Community Slack.
• Create and manage social media content to engage the developer and DBA community.
• Represent the company at conferences, meetups, and partner events globally.
• Run and improve internal community programs like ambassador and contributor recognition initiatives.
• Perform light coding and maintenance on the community website using HTML, CSS, and JS.
• Produce authentic short-form video content using AI-assisted tools.

Requirements

• Experience running or actively contributing to an online community in a technical or open source context.
• Comfortable with basic-to-intermediate coding (HTML/CSS/JS) for website maintenance.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly for events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
• Ability to juggle multiple workstreams including moderation, logistics, and technical tasks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with community platforms such as Discourse or Slack admin tooling.
• Prior experience with ambassador or advocate programs.
• Video editing and creation experience.
