What you will do

• Design and execute functional, regression, and integration test plans across web, API, and data components.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Jira with clear impact analysis and reproduction steps.
• Build and maintain test automation scripts, leveraging AI tools like GitHub Copilot to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers and product managers to resolve ambiguity and unblock issues.
• Contribute to SDLC quality practices and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior team members and drive assigned testing areas to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems like Jira.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort using GenAI tools to support scripting, test design, and information discovery.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience working in Agile environments like Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray or TestRail.
