What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable database infrastructure for multiple product units.
• Develop and operate PostgreSQL environments with a focus on stability and performance.
• Automate database operations and provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
• Optimize infrastructure costs and evaluate managed vs. self-hosted solutions.
• Collaborate with product teams to resolve complex production incidents.
• Contribute to security and reliability best practices across the database landscape.

Requirements

• Expertise in PostgreSQL architecture, tuning, and operations.
• Experience as a Database Administrator, Database Reliability Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Experience running stateful services in Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments and managed database solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Python and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis and Kafka.
• Experience migrating between managed and self-hosted database solutions.
• Experience with load testing and comparative analysis of database technologies.
