What you will do

• Manage and support diverse database engines including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Handle data migrations and schema updates across distinct database environments.
• Monitor database performance metrics continuously and resolve transactional or structural issues.
• Collaborate with the Information Security Department to maintain access rights and database compliance.
• Provide technical direction and guidance on database configuration and infrastructure improvements.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Information Technology or a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Hands-on experience with major DB engines and strong SQL writing and optimization skills.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (RDS, DMS, S3, IAM) and Linux/Windows environments.
• Proficiency with database monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Zabbix, or NewRelic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, Oracle Cloud, or MongoDB Atlas.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse.
• Experience with Shell scripting and Percona Toolkit.
