What you will do

• Design, build, and own end-to-end data pipelines and transformation workflows using dbt on BigQuery.
• Develop scalable ELT models for analytics, AI, marketing, and operational use cases.
• Orchestrate and schedule data workflows using Dagster, ensuring reliability, observability, and operability.
• Implement testing, monitoring, alerting, and recovery processes across the data platform.
• Partner with analysts and data scientists to deliver trusted, well-modeled, self-serve datasets in Hex.
• Integrate and operationalize AI/LLM workflows, build marketing attribution models, and run reverse ETL to platforms like Google Ads and Meta.

Requirements

• Strong advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Production experience with dbt and BigQuery, including designing, maintaining, and optimizing data workflows.
• Experience orchestrating reliable production workflows with Dagster (or comparable tools like Airflow or Prefect).
• Comfort using Python to build pipelines, automate processes, and develop data engineering tools.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices for version control, automated testing, and deployment.
• English as the company language.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hex (or similar notebook/BI tools like Looker, Mode, or Tableau).
• Hands-on Dagster experience with assets, sensors, partitions, and production deployment patterns.
• Experience with streaming technologies (Pub/Sub, Kafka, Dataflow).
• Knowledge of data governance (access controls, lineage, warehouse cost management).
• Experience with reverse ETL tools (e.g., Hightouch, Census) and marketing conversion APIs.
