What you will do

• Monitor external weather, traffic, and road conditions while riding in autonomous vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and software deployment checks.
• Pause or stop vehicle operations immediately to mitigate risks when necessary.
• Analyze and document test run data, providing concise feedback to engineers and managers.
• Perform incident analysis to determine appropriate safety mitigation responses.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately to ensure vehicle readiness.

Requirements

• Valid US driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
• 6+ years of experience driving on US roads.
• Strong computer literacy and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain focus and composure in a high-stress, dynamic environment for 4–10 hours daily.
• Ability to travel 1–2 nights per week.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing into and out of trucks.
