Location: Must be based in Mountain View, California (On-site)

Salary: $152,000—$160,000 USD

What you will do

• Collaborate with perception engineers to translate machine learning requirements into precise labeling policies.
• Speed up labeling queue setup by creating golden datasets and executing rapid policy iterations.
• Provide technical guidance and operational direction to vendor labeling teams.
• Coordinate with regional specialists to capture and validate edge cases and local driving nuances.
• Monitor labeling pipelines and build automated tools to identify data quality trends.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering requesters and operations to resolve escalations.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of experience in data analysis, operations, or program management within ML data annotation or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on operational workflows and manage vendor squads.
• Practical knowledge of dataset curation, labeling pipelines, and data quality control metrics.
• Analytical aptitude with experience using tools or scripts to diagnose pipeline issues.
• Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or SQL.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation of model outputs.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering stakeholders.
