What you will do

• Develop, implement, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs for manufacturing processes.
• Lead the design and integration of complex automation systems from conception to completion.
• Optimize production lines by reducing cycle time, minimizing downtime, and improving quality.
• Implement control strategies to enhance system performance and maintain optimal process conditions.
• Participate in control equipment buy-offs at vendor sites and collaborate with internal teams.
• Review and sign off on detailed design phase outcomes for automation projects.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing automation and control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in IEC 61131-3 programming languages and PLC/HMI systems (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider).
• In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus TCP, CC-Link IE TSN) and OPC UA.
• Hands-on experience integrating and commissioning high-volume manufacturing equipment.
• Good English written and oral skills for working in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the battery manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in designing electrical schematics using EPlan or AutoCAD.
• Experience in the evaluation, design, and implementation of safety functions.
