AI Ops Engineer

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; hybrid/remote position

Salary: $220,000–$240,000 annually

What you will do

• Deploy AI-driven monitoring and operational intelligence solutions.
• Develop automation for incident detection, response, and remediation.
• Analyze operational data to identify patterns and predict system failures.
• Implement event correlation, anomaly detection, and alert-fatigue reduction.
• Integrate AI tools with ITSM platforms, including ServiceNow ITOM.
• Build dashboards and analytics to improve system availability and performance.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required; ability to attain DEA suitability required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in IT operations and cloud environments.
• Experience with AIOps platforms, machine learning applications in IT, and cloud automation frameworks.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
• Advanced Python scripting and data analytics skills.

Nice to have

• AI/ML or cloud certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Splunk or Dynatrace certification.
