What you will do

• Lead efforts to shape risk management policies, focusing on CFTC regulations and recovery/wind-down plans for clearing services.
• Develop and execute strategic policy positions, including drafting comment letters and talking points.
• Support major project initiatives within the Clearing House from a policy perspective in response to regulatory changes.
• Keep senior management apprised of regulatory developments affecting the Clearing House.
• Liaise with trade associations to develop and align on joint policy positions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, political science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory requirements for clearing houses and CFTC regulations.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and derivatives products.
• Excellent written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Must be based in Chicago.
