Project Manager, Global Expansion (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end project management for entity employment readiness, including scoping, requirements gathering, and go-live handoffs.
• Lead communications and change management for entity lifecycle events, from executive briefings to employee notifications.
• Manage entity-related workstreams in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integrations and advise on retain/merge/wind-down decisions.
• Coordinate across People functions (Total Rewards, Systems, Ops) and cross-functional leads (Payroll, Tax, Legal, Finance).
• Develop and improve scalable infrastructure, including SOPs, playbooks, and compliance trackers for common jurisdictions.
• Provide structured analysis and reporting on portfolio health and entity-specific program decisions to People leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of program or operations management experience.
• At least 3 years of driving multi-stakeholder, cross-functional programs end-to-end.
• Experience in Total Rewards, M&A, People/Legal Operations, or People transformation programs at a global company.
• Proven track record of converting ambiguous, multi-jurisdictional problems into structured, repeatable programs in scaling environments.
• Excellent written communication skills for executive updates and operator playbooks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across senior partners in Legal, Tax, Finance, and People Systems.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with financial regulatory or licensing frameworks (banking, money transmission, card networks).
• Knowledge of statutory benefits, compensation, and equity requirements in EMEA, APAC, or LATAM jurisdictions.
• Experience launching People/Total Rewards programs in new countries or legal entities.
• PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar structured-program training.
• Experience with Workday and equity platforms like Shareworks or Carta.
